This is just a quick little test render to check that all is in order. This isn't necessarily the paint job that I'm going to use on the final car. I just wanted to get an idea of what the car's shell might look like when it's done. This render has drawn my attention to some irregularities in the car's geometry that need sorting out (most of the anomalous vertices can be seen in the car's specularity). I'm going to have to manually lower the car's poly-count to about sixty percent of what it currently is. I have completely finished modeling the front of my Skyline GT-R now and am nearing completion of the mid-section too.
Thanks. I'm glad that you like it. I'm not entirely sure of the kind of paint-job that I'm going to use. I was thinking of using a darker, more fierce colour. Perhaps something like a pearlescent granite blue. At the moment I'm open to any suggestions that are put forward.
