Full view is required in order for the Flash content to load. In order to instigate the Flash multimedia's protocols, press the, "Click to initiate" button. To control the character, use the left, and right keys. The left key maneuvers the character left, while the right key maneuvers the character right.

I'm not sure whether, or not this deviation belongs in the scraps category. This character was originally designed three years ago in an animation named, "Robot Suicide." This character is a complete re-make of the original character's design; the original looked quite a lot like a Dalek which is more than can be said for this version. According to the original story, his name is RUS T.08, and he was designed by a human research team (along with all of the other models in his series) to find each, and every possible way in which suicide can be achieved to find ways in which to conquer suicide occurrences within humanity. But... you see the problem is, RUS T.08 is a bit RUSTY at getting the job done. In the original animation he failed again, and yet again in his suicide attempts, and that is no exception in his re-make! If I get round to actually finishing the re-make, it will feature nothing but user interactivity; yes it will be a game, an artistic game in which you attempt to assist RUS T.08 in what he couldn't do alone. So what does RUS T.08 stand for you may ask? Well, to be perfectly honest I can't remember. It was three years ago that I originally came up with the concept, and much of the original story-boarding has been lost, and forgotten. For now, it can stand for: Robotically Unique Suicide Tester - Model 8. Anyway, this is just a prototype of the main character for the game, and should not be treated as a game itself. If you are going to critique this deviation (which would be very much appreciated) I would prefer if it was focused on the character, and its design as opposed to the script which was just an example that I whipped up in five minutes. I have already written a few pages worth of the final game's script (and it is already completely rumored with bugs). I will release the source code after submitting the game.

interesting design, i really dont know what else to say about this. I cant really find anything to point out thats off about it- except the color gets all around darker when its moving, and the ear thingies change shape. Sorry I cant be of any more help!

Hmm... I was wondering whether someone would point that out. I have now resolved the problem in the final game that I am currently working on. The reason that new pixels on his hat/ears generate as he moves is due to the animation (which is a sequence of PNG-24bit bitmaps) not having any spill area on the canvas. For some reason Flash's image compiler doesn't seem to like that, and so adds extra pixels onto the edges of the bitmap grid. The change in the character's hue was simply caused by the running character animation sequence having a different bit-rate to the neutral character pose. Thanks for spending the time to observe these faults.

It amazes me that I have any idea what you said...

I know flash can be a pain sometimes. Overall, I liked the design (it was kind of busy, but I think thats ok), and with the tweaking of the things i pointed out, i dont think there will be any problems with it. Good job! I would like to see more!
